Blessed Mother is our way to Christ. God gave us Mary as our direction to Christ and our mother. When Jesus gave the Apostle John his mother, Jesus gave humanity his mother. We are so blessed to be given the Queen of Heaven as our mother and intercessor.
YES! Mary is a virgin. It was through the Holy Spirit that she became pregnant with Jesus, son of God. This is also stated in the Bible (Isaiah 7:14)
Marian Apparitions are when Mary has appeared to individuals or groups of people. One of the most popular Marian Apparition is Our Lady of Fatima
#1 Mary is special because she is the only person other than Jesus conceived without sin. Just as in the Old Testament of the Bible the offerings to God had to be unblemished, so too did the Mother of God need to be unblemished. She also was assumed into Heaven bodily and soul.
#2 Mary the Mother of God, did not just carry Christ for 9 months, but through the science of microchimerism, she continued to carry His very cells within her body even after His birth. This profound reality reflects not only her unique role as The Mother of God but deepens our reverence for her. She is the perfect tabernacle of God and the new Arc of the Covenant (Revelation 11:19-12:1) God himself chose her to conceive and raise his only son.
#3 Mary is our mother and intercessor. Just as she gently asked her Son to help with the wine at the wedding at Cana, she now brings Him our prayers and intercedes for us with maternal love. Jesus gave us Mary as our mother out of love as He was dying on the cross (John 19:26–27): ‘Woman, behold your son.’ ‘Behold your mother.’
Why do we honor Mary?
Mary is the Mother of God, chosen by Him to bear and raise His Son. She was crowned by God Himself as the Queen of Heaven.
When the Archangel Gabriel appeared to her, he greeted her with the words: "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you" — a greeting, fit for a queen.
So why shouldn't we honor the Queen of Heaven — the mother of Jesus, the woman God entrusted with His Son, the new arc of the covenant, and the precious gift of a Heavenly Mother God gave to us all?
NO! The Hail Mary is reciting scripture from the bible.
" Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with you" (Luke 1:28) "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb" (Luke 1:42) then the final part of the Hail Mary we say "Holy Mary mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen".
None of those words or Bible verses were prayers to Mary; they were honoring her and recognizing her importance, while asking her to pray for us. We honor her and love her, but we do not pray to or worship her.
NO! We honor and love the mother of God not worship her. Worship is for God alone.
NO! The Rosary is a bunch of prayers to God all together as one big prayer.
We say the Apostles Creed, the Our Father, the Hail Mary, the Glory Be, the Fatima prayer, we meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary, and we conclude with the Hail Holy Queen prayer.
The Rosary is just a bunch of Prayers said all together to God as one big prayer! It is the greatest weapon against evil and was given to us by Mary. ( Find how to pray the full Rosary on the "Prayer" page on my website)
What prayers and gifts has Mary given us?
Mary has given us multiple prayers and gifts including: the Holy Rosary, the Brown Scapular, and Miraculous Medal. Each of these gifts and prayers are very powerful against evil and temptation. The Rosary is the strongest weapon against evil and has 15 promises from Our Lady, The Brown Scapular has Our Lady's promise to protect wearers from eternal fire and to intercede for them in Purgatory, and the Miraculous Medal has Our Lady's promise that, all who wear it will receive great graces.
